Introduction

Welcome to O - Time Bank, a time bank app that enables users to exchange time as currency. By accessing or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service, which govern your use of the app, its features, and services.

Time transfers

  • Time transfers are final and cannot be reversed or discarded.

  • Users can send and receive time by scanning a barcode or copying a user's wallet URL.

  • Time transfers are recorded in the transaction history page.

  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their transactions.

Map pins

  • Users can drop static pins on the map that cost 24 hours worth of time and last 24 hours before disappearing.

  • Active pins can be claimed by other users, who will collect the remaining time available on the pin before it expires.

  • Users can only drop one pin every 24 hours and must have sufficient time in their balance to do so.

  • Pins cannot be edited or removed once placed.

Transaction history

  • The transaction history page shows all past transactions, including time transfers and map pin activity.

  • Users can initiate new time transfer transactions or drop new map pins by clicking on past transactions.

  • Transaction history is available for a minimum of 12 months.

Time balance

  • Users' time balances are displayed in the transfer history page.

  • Users must have sufficient time in their balance to drop map pins or engage in time transfers.

  • Time balances are updated in real-time.

  • We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or losses resulting from time transfers or map pin activity.

  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their transactions.

  • We are not liable for any third-party claims or damages arising from use of the app.


CHANGES TO TERMS

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.

  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.

  • Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

gOVERNING LAW

  • These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration.
